We work with professional services firms, contractors, retailers, e-commerce businesses, and others across Palm Beach County and South Florida. Our clients typically have internal staff handling day-to-day bookkeeping but need experienced oversight to make sure the numbers are right and useful.
This is not a high-volume practice. We take on a limited number of clients so we can provide real attention and be available when you need us.
Meet John Long
John is the founder of Jargo and a licensed CPA based in Boca Raton. Before starting this firm, he spent 16 years as CFO and eventually Executive Vice President of a print and promotional products company. That wasn't a consulting role. He was in the business, responsible for everything from financial reporting to banking relationships to helping the company expand into new service lines.
That experience shapes how he approaches client work today. He's been the person in the room when the bank wants updated financials. He knows what it takes to evaluate a new opportunity or decide whether to take on debt. When he reviews your numbers, he's thinking about what they mean for your business, not just whether they balance.
John holds a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University, a BBA from The Citadel, and a Master's in Commerce Crime from George Washington University. He has worked as a fractional CFO across tax planning, audit preparation, and financial strategy.
He works directly with every Jargo client. No handoffs to junior staff.
